Moulding are one of the region’s leading, family-owned and family-managed building companies, renowned for quality, care and incredibly specialist skills. Providing the very best in building, restoration, maintenance, landscaping and project management, Moulding tackle building projects of all sizes.
Due to the prestigious nature of this 108 year old business, the resulting rebrand required careful thought and consideration so as not to damage the heritage of the Moulding brand whilst bringing them up to date and relevant to the modern audience.
Working closely with enotions, we revised Moulding's identity on what had been done before - rather than eradicating over 100 years of history. One significant change is the refined approach of using just the word 'Moulding' rather than 'R. Moulding & Co.', reflecting the simplified, pragmatic and confident approach of the business as a whole.
A brighter, more contemporary green is used as a base colour, onto which a white, crisp, clear serif-type font is used to spell out Moulding. The chosen font has many hallmarks of a traditional business - the detailed, accurate flourishes reflecting the care and attention that goes into each and every building project - whilst being an up-to-date typeface reflecting the modern day need of keeping the Moulding business image fresh and attractive.
The images here only show a small sample of how the brand has been rolled out consistently, accurately and carefully across many different media - each instance treated individually rather than unnecessary repetitive badging - creating a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.
To date, the Moulding brand has been translated across printed literature, advertisments, stationery website, clothing, van livery, bags, posters and signage - all detailed in a set of comprehensive brand guidelines.
