Expo and Sprout are great partners - friends, acquaintances, colleagues - well let's just call them part of the family! So much so, we were asked to refresh their tired website reflecting the professional, quality, schools-focused agency they had become.
Teachers are notoriously time-poor. Swamped by marking, planning, endless paperwork and even teaching, the marketing of their school is often a long way down the task list. As a result, Expo needed a website to cater for this audience enabling them to find exactly what they needed as soon as they arrived on the homepage - no waffle, no rambling - simple, clear and to the point.
To appeal to the education audience we designed a flexible and fluid website experience that fills the browser with beautiful imagery at every turn, and makes the most of the available screen real estate on different devices.
The bold, unapologetic design features dominant photography, vibrant colours, and confident typography providing a cohesive brand experience with Expo's offline materials.
We wanted to put people and place at the centre of the experience, using the personalities behind the schools Expo work with to bring credibility to the brand promise and offering.
The considered use of colour and clear layout helps to guide the user through the site aiding navigation and sub-dividing the available marketing services.
The bold white border used extensively across the site helps frame the images subtly inferring Expo's creations are to be regarded as 'pieces of art'.
